Still Held By You, God explores belief from a deeply human place where fear, failure, uncertainty, and spiritual exhaustion exist alongside grace, mercy, and hope. Rather than reaching for easy answers, the songs inhabit those spaces between struggle and trust, gradually returning to the conviction that even when faith feels fragile, God remains constant. The trip-hop sensibility gives that message a darker, more introspective edge. At its heart, it is about discovering that surrender doesn’t mean the struggle is over, it means realizing you were never carrying it alone.

T.oB was conceived in 2016 as a project by songwriter Chris Bartlett aka PugXXL. For 40 years, he continues to write and record his songs at home as time allows and now uses AI to create versions of these songs for an alternative listening experience. He continues to hone his craft in Florida, in between answering support calls for a software company and while avoiding thunderstorms and hurricanes as often as possible.
