USL updates the speed limits of the vanilla map using current real-world traffic regulations.
The data is based on rules, codes, and announcements from local authorities, with the information checked against current sources from time to time.
This project is a continuation of the same mods I created for ETS2.
For transparency, I've provided a comparison table showing the sources used for USL and and how they compare with SCS's current speed limit data.
Additional updates
Changes: - IDAHO: All posted signs that lower truck speeds are removed (law effective since 07/01/2026)
Versions: All
Convoy: Non-optional
Make sure to place this mod below any other map mods. I haven't tested it with any map combos, but it should work well with them.
Placing them at a higher priority will prevent my mod from working; you need to choose either mine or others.

No, it normally doesn't, since there are more posted than unposted road sections in ATS.
Also, most of the unnecessary caps are removed because these limits are not actually set out in state laws.
This should allow trucks and buses to travel even faster within legal limits.
The speed limit priority goes like: capped > posted (i.e. the speed limit signs you see on the road) > statutory (i.e. the values in the comparison table).
If the capped parameter for a vehicle type is set to TRUE, the vehicle can only legally drive within the statutory limits (or the maximum speed stated after an upwards arrow); if FALSE, the vehicle can legally drive at the speed stated on the posted sign (even if it's higher).
