OUTLINE
This mod applies real statutory speed limits to the vanilla map.
Sources of my data are the rules, codes and announcements made by local authorities.
Be cautious of other speed limit mods that claim to be realistic but provide no actual sources.
I've made a comparison table with sources listed to show that I do my studies carefully.

It all started when I did some research and found out that SCS had outdated, incorrect or unverified information scattered about.
That inspired me to create this mod as a patch to correct these errors.

FEATURES
Main:
- Updates statutory speed limits for motor vehicles (including cars, trucks and buses).
Notice:
ATS uses posted speed limits a lot; this will not affect them.
However, unnecessary caps are removed where these lower limits are not actually set out in state laws.
This should allow trucks and buses to travel faster within legal limits.
Additional:
- Revamps seleted posted speed limits.
Changes:
- Idaho: All posted signs that lower truck speeds are removed (law effective since 07/01/2026)

Make sure to place this mod below any other map mods.
I haven't tested it with any map combos, but it should work well with most maps.
INCOMPATIBLE
Placing them at a higher priority will prevent my mod from working; you need to choose either mine or others.
