IMPORTANT
Please open your documents/American Truck Simulator/config.cfg file in notepad and ensure the following is set.
uset r_buffer_page_size "25"
If this is not set then you may experience a crash to desktop by Fairbanks Rail.
The map is a Standalone Map on a 1:1 Scale and is NOT Compatible with any other map i.e C2C or Mexuscank.
This map is not for the faint of heart it will take you 20 minutes to get to Fox from Fairbanks and 3 1/2 hours to get to Yukon River Camp.
It takes about 2 hours or so just to get to the Dalton Highway from Fairbanks alone.
There are hills and corners that will make your jaw drop or wake you up.
This map has been mapped with google earth and elevations for every single node added to their correct heights for their respective locations via Google Maps Find Altitude.
For those of you who remember my 18 WOS Haulin version you are in for a real treat. there is no map shaking like the original back in 18WOS. Pavel told me the map was so big the game couldnt handle it lol.
There are two versions one Summer and one Winter.
Map Includes
Alaska State Troopers, Fairbanks and North Slope Borough Police Cars, Custom Trailer skins for some companies. Carlile T680 and W900 Skins for the SCS player trucks and AI trucks
(Watch your speed on the Elliot and Dalton those Police and State Troopers can sneak up on you or just be around the next corner.)
Do you have what it takes to survive the Dalton?
Now includes Special Transport!

Fixed a crash to desktop caused by a bad typo in the dalton_models.sii file at Hilltop and Prudhoe Bay Hotel.
Fixed a problem with an invisible bump in the road going north from Farmers Loop towards Fox.
Fixed a nearby terrain glitch
Brought upto date with game version 1.59.2.0.s
Update to fix an issue with companies and a company paintjob that were generating errors
Please see my thread on the SCS Forums.
There are alot of changes in this and new additions!
No this is a standalone map, therefore you need to create a new profile and select dalton.mdb as the playing module after you have loaded the files in the mod manager when you are creating the new profile.
Please post in my thread on the SCS Forums. Include your game.log.txt any screenshots and waypoints.
Without these nobody can solve your issues
I started the mod originally in 18 Wheels of Steel Haulin. According to pavel Sebor I had made the map too big for the game engine to handle and told me there was a new engine in the works.
That was ETS, then came ETS2 and I started working on the mod again there. As soon as ATS was released I exported it from ETS2 and imported into ATS. There have been alot of changes since then and there still will be.
Short answer, No. Doing a Winter as well as a Summer version is very time consuming.
No this is a standalone map and is on a one to one scale. The Basegame and most other Map Mods are 20:1
This means instead of taking 5 minutes to travel 100 miles it will take you 2 real hours.
Depending on your load 2 and a half to 3 hours.
The Dalton Highway is paved from Milepost 37 to 49 and from Milepost 90 to 197 (Gold Creek). Beyond that there is pavement (with breaks) from Milepost 335 (Happy Valley airstrip) to 362.

You need to unpack it first using Winrar or 7Zip.
The files ending in scs go into your mod folder in your Documents/American Truck Simulator/ directory
