A dark map with more natural colour.

This edition combines deep navy water with green landscapes, earth tones and detailed shaded relief, giving you a darker background while keeping the terrain’s colour and character.

Built from the established Light V2.1 colour sources, it preserves the existing geography, island positions, terrain layout and zoom settings.

Installation and load order

1. Place the downloaded .scs file in your American Truck Simulator mod folder.
2. Activate Allan’s America Background Map 4K – Dark Coloured in Mod Manager.
3. Disable your existing background-map edition and put this one in the same load-order position.

Use one background map at a time, including Workshop copies. FullScreen Maps is optional.

This mod changes the visual background. It does not add roads, cities or playable map areas. The map expansions shown by the background are separate downloads.
