This mod corrects the day of the year in the game's definition files, which in theory means that you'll get different temperatures at different times and the sun will rise and set sooner or later than the game's default.
I WILL UPDATE THIS MOD AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE - WHICH SHOULD BE EVERY DAY.
TIP FOR USING THIS MOD:
If you don't want to redownload weekly, monthly, seasonally, you should probably download the TruckyMods Mod Manager so this mod will automatically update so you don't have to come here and manually reinstall this mod every day you play ATS

It is found the day after uploading that the thumbnail for this mod says 24th of August. After checking the files, I can confirm this is a thumbnail issue on my part, and that this still changes the in-game day to the 23rd

Do I really have to update this mod every single day?
Nope! The only times I'd recommend updating everyday are the transitions between seasons in real life where the days suddenly get longer/shorter. Otherwise, once a week or even once a month should, in theory, be fine whilst still maintaining some realism.
The more often you update, the more realistic, which is why this mod is updated everyday - so those who want the most realism and update this mod everyday. I'm also adding "WEEKLY" and "MONTHLY" tags to versions to help those updating on a weekly or monthly schedule rather than daily.
TIP: DON'T UPDATE THIS MOD IF YOU'RE NOT PLAYING ATS ON THE SAME DAY
This helps reduce storage wear, internet usage, and it saves you time.
I want to update this mod everyday but I'm not willing to use truckymods every single time - what do I do?
the TruckyMods Mod Manager allows for automatic updates. If you want steam workshop instead / you don't want to install yet another app? Use a different mod that's on a steam workshop because I unfortunately can't upload there yet.
