Car Mode changes for American Truck Simulator:
For the "oldtimer" car tire sound set (used by the 1967 Ford Mustang and some car mods),
the tire noise for asphalt and gravel surfaces have been reworked!
Alterations include different sounds on gravel and a more prominent rolling tire sound on asphalt from external camera view perspectives.
Note: This is the first iteration of the rework. Feedback is very much welcome to perfect it.
SUVs will receive its own changes for this in a later mod version.
Fuel station sounds may also sound different in Car Mode (at least for the 1967 Ford Mustang and some car mods)!
Unlike in Truck Mode, you can hear the fuel door be closed, and the sound of stepping on the truck steps is omitted.
The sound of closing the driver's door is also car-based instead of truck-based. Enjoy this attention to detail! :)
Note: SUVs will receive its own changes for this in a later mod version.
