An engine + transmission pack + sound mod for the existing 1967 Ford Mustang's engine, the 289ci Challenger V8, as well as a couple extra variants of the engine like the regular 200hp 2 barrel carb option and the High Performance 271hp "HiPo" engine which was also featured in the Shelby GT350, albeit with some more tuning on Shelby's side.
This mod also includes new engines that were factory options, such as the Thriftpower 200ci Inline 6, a 120hp low budget, highly economic engine option for non GT models, and the Big Block 390ci Ford-Edsel motor, which was the largest, most powerful engine offered by Ford for the 1967 Mustang GT.
These engines have been downrated in power to accommodate for drivetrain losses. The power SCS applied to the Mustang is the number listed by Ford, the SAE gross, or power measured by the crank. I have applied a roughly 15% decrease in torque on the SAE gross numbers to more closely match the power the engines would make to the wheels, mainly for the manual gearboxes I added and personally wished to drive with. Automatic transmissions would have even more loss, closer to 20 or 25%, but I figure I'd keep things simpler for myself and others.
I also added a few extra gearbox options, the Toploader 4 Speed Manual commonly featured in the Mustang with 2 sets of gear ratios, "Close" for more track oriented racing featuring a longer 1st gear and closer subsequent gears for more time in the powerband, and "Wide" for more road friendly driving with a shorter 1st gear ratio. Some Mustangs also came with a 3 speed Toploader, with their own sets of close and wide ratios for a similar purpose, though apparently the close ratio 3 speed was quite uncommon. I have also included many sets of differential ratios for personal preference, featuring a range of 4:11 being the shortest for drag racing and quick starts, and 2.79 being the longest, intended for highway cruising at low RPM.
Enjoy :P
